Country Feeling Australia was created out of a shared desire to help people live a more sustainable and enriched home life. 

As a rampant foodie with a passion for homemade foods, sustainable living, travel and country living, Joanne uses her 30+ years of knowledge, experience and unique take on life to teach new skills to those seeking to further enrich their lives.

​In 2021, Joanne and her husband Grant bought a 25 acre property on the Granite Belt in Southern Queensland, Australia. It's a beautiful part of the country, quiet, fresh country air and the lifestyle many aim for. Armed with a bounty of knowledge and projects that had been shelved over the years they are turning their little piece of paradise into a sustainable, self sufficient run property.

​Founder of Velit Group and inventor of EasyOven, author and public speaker, Joanne has created education programs in Design and Technology and the Sciences. She is a partner with UN Global Alliance Clean Cookstoves and represents Australian as an expert with International Standards for Clean Cookstoves (ISO 285).

Joanne is taking her “Knowledge Sharing” to the next level, by presenting two new hands-on, highly interactive workshops, Unemployed to Self Employed and Think Different – Make Money
