About Country Feeling Australia

Country Feeling Australia was born from a shared passion to help people live a more sustainable, fulfilling, and enriched home life. Led by Joanne, a dedicated foodie with a love for homemade meals, sustainable living, travel, and country life, we aim to inspire others to embrace simpler, more meaningful lifestyles. With over 30 years of knowledge and experience, Joanne’s unique perspective on life is the foundation for teaching others new skills that enrich their everyday living.

In 2021, Joanne and her husband Grant purchased a 25-acre property in the stunning Granite Belt of Southern Queensland, Australia. This serene, picturesque region offers fresh country air and the kind of lifestyle many dream of. With a wealth of knowledge and long-cherished projects, they’re transforming their little piece of paradise into a sustainable, self-sufficient farm.

Joanne is also the founder of Velit Group, the inventor of EasyOven, an author, and a public speaker. With a background in education and a passion for teaching, she has developed programs in Design, Technology, and the Sciences. As a partner with the international Clean Cooking Alliance, she represents Australia as an expert in Clean Cookstove Standards (ISO 285). Currently, Joanne is working on her book Think Different – Make Money, taking her “Knowledge Sharing” to the next level.

Now joined by her daughter, Lauren, owner of Seasonal Preserves, they combine their expertise and passion to offer a range of workshops and seminars, sharing their love for sustainable living, preserving, and cooking with others.
